RULES, Policies, and Procedures

 

RULES

 

1. If you are not pleased with a certain part of the face up, I can remove the face up for a price. I am unable to just remove a section of a face up due to the layers of MSC.

2. I can not guarantee 100% color matching with color examples. I can try as hard as possible to match a color you would like but it might not be perfect due to screen differences or resin color.

3. By commissioning me, you have agreed to accept all rules and regulations posted.

 

ABOUT STYLE & AESTHETIC:

 

1. I will not reproduce a face up I have already done. Most are face ups picked my other commissioners, meaning it is their vision for their character or doll. I can create looks inspired by or influenced but I will not copy.

2. I will not reproduce a face up by ANOTHER ARTIST. If you have commissioned me I am assuming it is because you like my personal style and taste there for you are happy for a face up in my line of looks.

3. I will not reproduce a face up by a company! I can create a face up in the style of but not a copy of a company face up.

4. I love working on dark face ups but I am comfortable working on any style. Don’t be afraid to ask! ^_^

5. I am not  a machine. I am a human being so my work may not be perfectly symmetrical (such as lashes or eyebrow hairs). I will try my best to make everything perfect for you but I can not guarantee it to be perfectly accurate.

6. Also, I am not without feelings. I only ask that I be afforded the same courtesy and respect that I give you. It doesn’t hurt you to be polite but it does help me.

7. Sometimes, the sealant can make dark resin look a tiny bit lighter in colour. The effect is usually more obvious on dolls that have a really glossy look.

 

ABOUT ORDERING:

 

1. If you request a slot, I ask that you fill out the commission form ASAP.

2. You may also send a printed out version of the form with you head but I need the form sent to me also by email. I like to have a digital record of everything.

3. I will not put you on the list of commissions slots UNTIL you are 100% sure you are commissioning me. I have had too many flakes that never send out the head or get back to me about the commission. I will take commissions before yours because of this.

 

ABOUT THE COMMISSION FORM:

 

1. I can not stress this enough, if you would like a certain look, please send reference photos. I will not copy others work but seeing what you are trying to describe will help me bring your ideas to life.

2. Take your time when filling out the form. If there is something you want to say then say it when describing your face up. Provide as many photos as you want but just know that saying “Mysterious Dark Stranger” might not be the same to me as it is to you.

3. I DO NOT TAKE PAYMENT for services in goods. I will not trade.

 

PREPARING THE DOLL BEFORE SHIPPING:

1. If you are sending eyelashes or purchasing them from me, please provide a facemask. I will try to protect the eyelashes as best as I can but I am not responsible for squashed eyelashes if you do not.

2. You can provide a wig or eyes with your head if you would like to for photo purposes. If not that is fine too. I have an array of wigs and eyes that I can use if you would like photos of such.

3. REMOVE THE FACE UP BEFORE SENDING IT TO ME OR I WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE REMOVAL

4. I am not responsible if I find stains/sanding marks or similar blemishes that I am unable to remove under the old faceup.

5. If when I get the head, I see that the old faceup hasn’t been removed well enough, I have the right to charge to clean it properly. If the head/parts are not properly cleaned they might cause bubbles/flaking to happen on the new faceup. I wont risk that to happen.

 

WHEN I RECEIVE THE HEAD:

 

1. I will let you know that I have received it.

2. I work on first to arrive first to be worked on. This allows me to work faster on face ups instead of having to wait for an alloted head.

3. I will keep my site as updated as possible on the progress of services but if you are really curious you can always shoot me an email.

4. I take generally 1-3 weeks to finish a face up once I have started it.

 

AFTER THE FACEUP IS COMPLETE:

 

1. Provided you approve of the images I have sent, I will then give you a total of your services and shipping. When you have paid, I will ship your items back to you as soon as I can. It usually takes me 1-3 days to ship an item after payment.

2. I will be using the photos of my finished faceups in my portfolio, Flickr, and DA Gallery. If you would not like that please let me know.

3. I am not responsible for the package after I leave it at the post office.

4. I am not responsible for any damages that happen to the resin parts and faceup after I send it off.

5. I do not offer any sort of insurance so please make sure you take care of the faceup. If you would like insurance LET ME KNOW.|

6. I will ship the item back the way you sent it to me. If you would like a different method of shipping LET ME KNOW. If you do not clarify how you want it sent I will send it back priority without insurance (US BASED ONLY).
